Speech Contest

~ Rules ~

1) ..There will be no tolerance for indecent, hateful, violent language or gestures.

2).. Your topic can be anything regarding what you feel it means to be an American.

3).. Not to be political nor is it promotional.

4) ..You will see an AMBER light at 5 minutes and a RED light at 6 minutes.

5) ..Please keep your time to 6 minutes.

6) ..You will be provided a wireless microphone on or off a stand.

7) ..You may use props. No other person or animal may be present on the stage.

8).. No projectors or background music can be used.

9) ..Any ties, those will speak up to two minutes and will be reevaluated.

10) Judges are listening and watching for originality.

11) First place $150, second place $100 and $50 for third place.

12) Most important rule; Relax and have fun with your presentation!

Light refreshments will be provided.
